Well, I have to say, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ultimate Edition 3.5, as a matter of fact I loved Ultimate Edition since I discovered it at 3.2. I have been a lifelong MS sheeple and never a mac fan, I have finally found the light and no more MS for me. Ultimate Edition does it all, it's powerful, fast, has EVERYTHING, all the desktops and it just works. I am still a Linux NOOB but I have completely switched to Ultimate Edition back @ 3.2, and will never look back, 3.5 is awesome. Much much love and respect to the geniuses behind Ultimate Edition and wish I could help out on it but again i'm still learning terminal. Keep up the awesomeness Ultimate Edition!! <BREW>

So is 3.6 almost done or in testing? Is it going to be based on 12.10? Also, what kernel?
Can I test it?? Pretty please with sugar on top?? ;) I know, you have to be a tester or mod.. Maybe a genie will grant my wild wish. LOL

Been a while since I've stopped by! I'm back! Its been like 3 years since my last visit to the forum! CRAZY.... Anyways, I'm going to DL the 3.5 and give it a run ... why?? Because I cant stand the virgin 12.04 Ubuntu is putting out! Everything is just NOT my style.. So, I got online and checked out Ultimate Edition again, and NO suprise at all ... TheeMahn has kept all the saved all the good stuff and installed it the way I LIKE IT! And so it begins ....
LOL .... I just saw my old signature! WOW.... hahaha \m/ B) \m/

Chit... forgot to ask.... is there a side by side comparison of the LTS and Lite versions of 3.5?

Welcome Back <BREW>

There isn't a lite 3.5, but there is 3.4 lite.

All three are LTS, the differences between 3.4 and 3.4 lite are in environments and software, where 3.4 has various environments and 3.4 lite has Mate and the software as you are well aware, is numerous and would take much time to list but is lessened, though not heavily.

And now, the completely true facts, as told by an anonymous man hiding behind a screen name:

Right on... thank you Xanayoshi! I've got 3.4 DL'd and going to give it a go! I'm excited to see how it looks and feels :) Thanks for the break down on the differences. I was 'assuming' that was the differences but didn't know the details so thought I would ask :)
