Softare Center ?

I am running both XFCE and Gamers on two different machines. Does anyone happen to know why the Software Center will not start? I'm comfortable installing in terminal and/or synaptic but sometimes I get lazy and like to just click with my mouse. That and having a shortcut to something that doesn't do anything makes my eye twitch.
