I downloaded and tried Ultimate Edition 4.6 x64 XFCE. I am truly impressed ! I've really never been too taken with XFCE, but this implementation with UE4.6 actually rocks. I tried to get the distro to install in Virtualbox but it stops at Welcome to Ultimate Edition 4.6 Build and wouldn't go any further. I haven't had any luck installing any 4.6 in Virtualbox. I,m running Ultimate Edition 4.6 x64 Gamers on this machine and love it. I have a spare 300 GB drive that I am going to try installing the XFCE version on today. I may have a problem after that deciding which of the two to run as my main os if all goes well. Thanx "O' Imperious Leader", as always you never cease to amaze me. Oh, before I forget this little problem, I find that in all of the recent distros, when I open Appearance to change my desktop background or theme, one of my processor cores maxes out at 100% and stays that way even after ending the application until I reboot. That's the only app that happens with. Everything else runs smooth as silk. Awesome!!

Well, I installed 4.6 xfce on the spare hdd............ and It works GREAT! I love how easy it is to configure, and it has a lot of goodies and the grand Ultimate Edition flare that TheeMahn created in it. All I can say is everyone should try it. It's very quick to respond and doesn't use up nearly the resources that gamers uses. Thanks for the new animal Thee. Now I have another new toy to play with and get to know better. I wonder what else I'll find besides the "The Cylon Voice". I love it when my 'puter talks back to me.

I've been running 4.6 since it came out, and so far, is one of the best TheeMhan has made...

I love it too, but I can't get wine to install, dependency issues.

Yes. That is a little bug. It creates one more instance each time you wish to change the background.

No need to reboot however. Just launch the system monitor and go to the processus tab.
Then kill 'mate-appearance-properties'

Job done and everything else is still perfectly fine ;)
