Love 4.4x64!! Runs great on flash drive and has tons of bells and whistles. But there seems to be NO "install" applet??? At least I can't find one. Bottom line I want to install to hard drive but can't. Am I missing something?

Hi Xxjoker21xX.

This is my first post on the forum.

I installed your Loaded-OS 4.4x64 today. It took several tries before it would install properly.

I tried both with USB stick and a DVD. The checksums matched all right. I got the live version to boot up on both, but the Ultimate Edition Installation shortcut wouldn't load on the desktop so I couldn't start the installation process. After numerous tries, I was about to give up but I finally tried logging in with a different DE (KDE) and low and behold, there was the installation shortcut on the desktop!

The installation was very slow with the DVD compared to most distro's I've run. It took about 2 hours to install everything, not counting the updates after the first bootup.

I have to tell you that I'm sure glad I stuck it out. Your distro really rocks! I'm still exploring all the software and tweaks (that could take a couple of weeks :D ), but so far, everything runs really smooth. I really like your setup. Ultimate Edition just gets better and better.

I have one issue that maybe you can help me with. Each time I boot up I get an error that says something to the effect that the "Mixer Applet Factory" is broken. Can you can tell what exactly that is. I'll try to uninstall and reinstall from the command line if I could find out what the name of the program is. Maybe that will fix it.

Thank you, you did a great job with an already great distro.

P.S. I used that link you posted here on the forum to download your distro, as I believe your website is down at the moment.
