Updating Error[SOLVED]

Postby Zermelo » Sun Jun 21, 2015 8:05 am

I'm getting this error when running apt-get update:

W: Failed to fetch http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/getdeb/ubuntu ... 4/Packages Hash Sum mismatch

W: Failed to fetch http://mirrors.dotsrc.org/getdeb/ubuntu ... 6/Packages Hash Sum mismatch

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Googling around I found a few answers that say remove the content of /var/lib/apt/lists directory by: sudo rm /var/lib/apt/lists/*

But I just wanted to ask if there is anything else I should be doing before I start deleting folders.

Thanks.
