As-Far-As-I-Can-Recall, that is. This has been consistent over several Ultimate Edition ISOs.
However ...
Some ISOs are designed to work only when "burned" to plastic disc (ISO = cd-rom filesystem). Some may also work when "dd"-ed to other forms of storage; destroying prior storage-structure, of course.
Sometimes there are cheatcodes (boot parameters) to facilitate booting from other file-systems, storage devices, or file-locations. (Discovery therof can be
challenging.)
Not every live-demo can find its own <body-part> with its own <appendage>

i have tryed ultimate for username and pressing enter for password has not worked

Never had to use a username to boot to any Ultimate Edition live.

»when you see the login screen you can choose which ultimate edition Mate or xbcm click default or mate once then enter "ultimate "again then it should work that how it work with me if i did not click default or Mate ,i could not login .Ray

yes, it works. hooray. choose MATE and then "ultimate" and no password. I haven't tried to install yet but the LIVE edition looks great. Thanks.
