32GB RAM, doable? [Yes]

32GB RAM, doable? [Yes]

Postby S3KshuN8 » Fri Jun 20, 2014 4:54 pm

I have a friend with a high-end system which has 32GB RAM, and I was wondering if Ultimate Edition would be able to handle that much. Thanks.

To be honest 32gb of ram is total overkill he will never fully utilize it unless he loads the entire os into ram. I have 16 with hundreds of Windows open have never used 8 go. Loading the entire os into memory makes dual raided ssd's look like a joke.

I'll pass that information along, but right now he is busy with other things. He said he might put linux on one of his laptops to test it out first. When he does, I'll do my best to make sure it's Ultimate Edition. ;)
