[feedback]From a Live session of v4.2beta:
Boots from USB drive FAT32 partition marked "active" and prepped with either
YUMI or
multibootusb.
Cannot adjust resolution via right-click anywhere on desktop. (rare high-level GUI discipline)
Limited selection of resolutions - possibly limited to GPU/BIOS data (or EDID lies?) - monitor handles more
1st Preferences/screensaver entry works, selection dumbed-down/limited
2nd Preferences/screensaver entry shows a few not-installed entries, daemon not working
play-video works, sound OK, sysinfo OK
<Google (is-not-your-friend) Chrome removed>
(Note: live-user "ubuntu" has sudo priviliges - mention in website blog with ISO md5?)
No Dillo/NetSurf/Iceweasel/Firefox (Elinks won't launch), unpacked PaleMoon to desktop & added shortcut
Ubuntu Tweak will need migration to Mate (marco not)
(dark themes have visibility challenges; RedShiftGUI helps, but
user control (sliders, scheduling) would be better)
As 'buntu enhancements migrate upstream, more DebIan-based (non-'buntu) fully-loaded distro ISOs emerge.
Competition.
Automation of programming saved a lot of bacon pre-Y2K; clearly it provides an advantage here too.

This worthless one wonders what wonders would come of fusion with Makulu ...
May you Live Well and Thrive.
(forum's Glass style helped readability during dark-shift - wish I remembered how to set it!)
