If you installed it in the right order it should show up automatically. Now if you are running more than one version of Ultimate Edition or have ubuntu installed remember the one that was installed last controls grubs menu so you would have to run
- Code: Select all
sudo update-grub
in that OS.
Unless you choose to install grub on another partition, Your last install should reflect your default drive ! On the last screen of install select "Advanced" Tab , and place your grub to your default drive ! What ever drive you want to start first ! That will be your first in line In your grub menu ! ! After that if you install other Ultimate Edition,Or what ever, install grub to the drive you install the next Ultimate Edition or what ever too ! This insures you a boot option if one should fail! Or you get a bad kernel ! as 2hot said you have to boot to your default install and then "sudo update-grub" And then reboot , you should see a new menu list ! This must always be done anytime you modify a system aft of your default boot system ! Make sence?
