o.k. ive got one........
ive haven't changed anything on my laptop(i have updated a few times since ive installed the os),the update icon shows up so i go update.it says it cant update because of broken packages.i go to synaptics,and boot in safe mode,but my system dosn't find any broken
packages......?everything is working fine,but why is the updater saying this?

well,I thought i fixed this by checking some filters in synaptics.i reloaded and it said i was ready for some updates,and it updated normally.when it finished update manager still had a big red arrow staring at me so
I clicked it and it said the same thing again>fix broken packages before you continue.I still cant find any "broken" packages anywhere.Any thoughts?

tried that too,tape keeps falling off 
i think i fixed it playing with apt-get in consol,purged this and that,up date this and that.it no longer says i have broken packages now,just the usual cant find repo this and that.
