This is just one of many ways in doing so without paying $20 a month. Open Source takes a stand with RedPhone and Text Secure by Open WhispersSystems...

I love stuff like this. When Android first came out, Market was a treasure trove for security functions, it's nice to see it has been advancing. I really haven't had much use for Play in a long time, so way out of loop!
