Too cool to not talk about. This application is available for free in the Play store. Basically you can remote your android through your web browser. Webkey requires root to operate, so if you are contracted I would be hesitant, however this will run your android. Sure it's useful to use a physical full keyboard in terminal, but more importantly if you lose your device and it is live you can open up video, sound, gps, etc... to locate it.

I have nothing against Airdroid. But it is not the same thing and not as useful. It is very pretty. I definitely would recommend for nonroot.
