Wireles Problems In 3.2

Wireles Problems In 3.2

Postby mandraagora » Tue Mar 20, 2012 1:46 am

I love Ultimate Edition. I currently use Ultimate Edition 2.9 64bit. I just tried to upgrade to 3.2, but my wireless does not work with it on my HP Pavilion G7. Everything worked perfect with 2.9. What changed in 3.2? Any clues on how to make my wireless work in 3.2????

I have broadcom bcm43224. I found this in forum, in a terminal

sudo gedit /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf

then add "blacklist bcma" and "blacklist brcmsac" to the blacklist.conf file so it looks like this:

# replaced by b43 and ssb.
blacklist bcm43xx
blacklist bcma
blacklist brcmsac
save and reboot.

hope this helps!
