Yep..through Terminal and Cmake GUI I ran into the same problem. It's actually kind of shocking there is no Ultimate Player 32 Precise Deb, I was wondering if I could copy it from my 3.4 install and move it over, since they are all 12.04 32 based.

Think I had to edit cmake where /home/username was pointing to because I was running from /opt. Going to install it on my newer build and will be forced to remember so I will try and let you know...

That would be awesome! I have no clue what I am doing wrong. This method is a little limiting.

Can't believe I forgot about interactive cmake. That is where I had to specify a few things. Couldn't get it to compile without it. cmake -i
Hope it helps as it's a little tedious paying attention to all activities, but worth it in the long run...

Ok. ultimate player .tar was extracted into /opt. I had to run cmake -i .. from the /opt/ultimateplayer/cmake directory then on the question where asks to install user executable directory I chose /usr/bin and then default for rest and then make and make install. Then all installed with no issues. Hope that help you X...

Curious if anyone else had issues with Ultimate Player on 3.4 lite. Refused to open for me, so purged, compiled, and going, but it isn't quite so integrated with my system and touchy, although I am happy to get it going without resorting to totally cheating and just copying the file.

Sigh..opt..I'm retarded, went to bin and worked from there and stayed on path, I'll restart again.

Trying to get this down, It will take 35 years to compile on Pi, and I want to eleminate my user error before attempting.
