easy firefox tweaked

close all firefox windows
extract this file to /home/username/.mozilla/firefox/5rlm0qbe.default
then go to that directory and change the pref.js file name to like prefs.js.orignal (i am not a big one for not backing up orginal files)
then change the file name of prefs.js.tweaked to prefs.js
restart firefox

i hope a few of you try this out i have had no problems with it and would like to get a few then possibly TheeMahn can add it to the releases of Ultimate Edition as like Ultimate Fox for our Ultimate Edition..

Actually was in a hurry to get back to work on Ultimate Jr
been teaching my 9 year old grandson how to rebuild a old PC well now the PC is ready but Ujr is not so now i have a grandson riding my butt to get it done ... so fast he forgets how we all were very sick last week.

You might find this useful for Ultimate Jnr.
It's a localised start page for Firefox but can be used for any browser.
It contains all links currently relevant to the Ultimate Edition project. You can edit these links if you wish to personalise it for the kiddies, as well as the background image.
I've only included 1 size of the image, but you can change that to any image and scale it in Gimp to any resolution.
Instructions:
Download File.
Uncompress folder onto your desktop.
Move the uncompressed folder into your home folder.
open the folder and open 'index.html with Firefox.
Set it as your homepage. Done.

Hope you find it useful/fun.

In prefs.js.tweaked file download.dir is set to your home folder, so i think its better to change it to the users home dir before using it.

user_pref("browser.download.dir", "/home/daringsoule/Downloads");

well some changes i did not make, like your line. I myself DL to a external shared drive so that it is network accessible.
