I just installed the U/E Red 3D Cursor set-

The Cursor set is stealing the thunder...

This was on the "other" Ultimate Page.

I actually keep running across this on Gnome Look as well as lots O' Bob Stuff

Now there is an entire cursor set...the red one is still the best.

You can take the deb and open it with Software center and it will put it where it needs to go.. Or you can dpkg it.

Since you have already extracted you could also just go to the cursor folders, copy them, open a terminal and get a root file manager, so on your system, I guess it has Mate, XFCE, KDE, etc..

sudo dolphin

or

sudo nautilus

then navigate to usr/share/icons and paste the cursor folders there.

If you extracted the deb and ended up with control and data tars you need to exract the data. The cursor folders will be in usr/shar/icons respectively.

, just another friendly addition for new people here, i myself am new and this is the only thing that worked for me.
