Ultimate Edition Forum

i just installed ultimate edition 2.5 to my laptop ...The reason why im pointing that out is for you to realise that im a new ubuntu-user...so i need your help.

The problem is i cant upgrade this ubuntu verson . I go to the upgrade manager i start the upgrade and nothing it stops and say something i dont really understand what.Is there a common advice you can give me???

1. NEVER upgrade Ultimate Edition. EVER. Upgrading (with dist-upgrade or upgrade) tends to break things.
2. Use up to date software. 2.5 is um... Well 3.5.1 and 3.4 lite are the current releases of Ultimate Edition with support for a few years more.

i didnt understand whats yor advice what should i do ...i want to see videos on youtube but i cant because i can not install th latest flash player....i want to install skype,but it works only with ubuntu 12.04

Install Ultimate Edition 3.4 lite or 3.5 or 3.5.1. 2.5 is not supported.
