New install of Ultimate 2.9 question

Postby MERRIB » Sat Oct 08, 2011 8:46 pm

I just did a new install of Ultimate 2.9 using the latest available download on a Dell XPS M1710 Laptop, after the install I did a partial update on the available files. I did not do an Upgrade. Now when I shut down or start up a get a blue "Kubuntu 10.10 screen is this normal or have I botched up. After boot up I still get to the Ultimate edition but I question where Kubuntu came from. Anyone have a quick answer. Or should I just start over on a new install.

Regards;
Bob

Many thanks Blackwolf that corrected the problem and everything is now back to normal. I appreciate your quick reply and answer. So far since I have been using 2.9 I have grown to like it more and more everyday. I am looking forward to 3.0 becoming available. :D Again many thanks.

Bob
