Linux is for people that want to learn computing from the basics to the complex. Windows is for people that just want everything to work with minimal effort involved.
In other words: 'Linux for the self motivated and Windows for the lazy and uninspired.'

Great article, but it's too long!
I'd like some of my "windows addicted" friends to read this article, but if they were willing to read so much they'd have the qualities needed to try and learn linux, so here we are at a paradoxical situation...

Windows users are used to get it right now, right here, fast, not always good at all, but it's immediately here...
Having them to try out to play around with Linux (my friend went back to Vista after 3 weeks trying UE2.1 because "everything takes too much for me to get it done") is like asking them to spend 10 minutes reading this long article...
