Why does one need to load drivers for the live environment? You can run compiz,or even run the games on the live dvd with the driver provided.

I reinstalled windows 7 also in VMbox. I would like to tell you Vmbox now detect other USB devices except my windows phone. Thanks.


The virtual os can only detect usb devises that the host os can detect....thats the way I always understood it.

Most of the installed programs are in /usr/bin and /usr/sbin./usr/local/bin should have all the goodies you compiled yourself.

What is the difference between Failsafe Gnome, Gnome , and Gnome/openbox ?



Log into fail safe,and it should tell you.Least it did...you start gnome with no start up scripts.
