Ultimate Edition is it's own Distro, yes it is based on Ubuntu, which in turn is based on Debian,,,lol. Confused yet....? Linux Mint, another nice Distro is also based on Ubuntu...that is another ...

I agree with dathem, you are very lucky. I have trashed many of install, just for testing, but that's just me. There has been many post's about this, some have made it through, but most have not. I would bet your Ultimate Edition repo's are not in place, or unusable, you may have a install that look...
