Tried the et_sdl hack but it just pops and cracks on start up and then there is no sound. Any suggestions? Its not the mixers.You have to change some lines withing the game cofig fil...

Done that before...just once.

Not a bad thing if not just a little inconvenient.....at least it can be more stable than M$

The glxinfo output says its using mesa...which it should be.If I understand right its a new install without the on board gpu being activated.

Its been over an year...I figure someone would have fixed that bug by now.

I wonder....What will the puter be used for?Gaming,music,photo,and video editing?If so then why the heck does the average user need six cores besides having the bragging rights?
